| Overview | [ Top ] | [ Bottom ] |
 | Genuine Southern hospitality is priority number one. This is why this unique inn was selected by COASTAL LIVING magazine for its annual list of favorite inns for 2006. The 10.5 private acres features a spring-fed pond, gazebo, hammock and plenty of space for leisurely walks. | | This inn is secluded in feel, but is convenient to all that Alabama's Gulf Coast region has to offer. Downtown Fairhope is only 4 miles away and is extremely popular for its unique shops, art galleries and festivals, restaurants and Bayfront Park. | | Guests can pursue a variety of interests all within an hour from the inn: gulf and bay beaches, golf courses, movie and live theaters, historic landmarks (including USS Alabama Battleship Park), area attractions (including Bellingrath Gardens and Home), dog races, festivals (including the original Mardi Gras), shopping, fine and casual dining, art and history museums, walking and biking trails, and birdwatching. | | The inn has six bedrooms, with two as part of a suite with a private living room and shared bath. All other bedrooms have private baths. All rooms have Serta memory foam beds, comfortable furniture for relaxing, luxury cotton robes and slippers, iron and ironing board, desk with adjacent ADSL connection, hairdryer, and assorted soaps and toiletries. Common areas include two living rooms and dining room on the first floor, and a self-service room on the second floor. All reservations include a brunch-style breakfast and freshly prepared afternoon refreshments. (Guests needing an early start in the morning can request a continental or to-go breakfast in advance.) |

The inn features casual-elegance decor throughout, with all spaces designed to be special while remaining inviting and homey. The large deck overlooks the majority of the grounds and the spring-fed pond. Then there's the gazebo tucked under the trees in the center of the circle entrance, where guests can relax in the swing or on a bench. Or guests can relax in the hammock in the shade behind the house or on one of two benches overlooking the pond. No matter where guests decide to relax, they can enjoy the feel of being in the middle of nowhere without the inconvenience of being so far from basic services and things to do. Enjoy the sounds and sites of nature, then explore downtown Fairhope for unique shopping and dining.
