| Overview | [ Top ] | [ Bottom ] |
PAULO(very English name) new native ENGLISH speaking owner provides PELOURINHOwith its'NEWEST HOSTEL' ,the old colonial house already has its own history in the Pelourinho-historical centre & night spot playing an important role as a famous rendevouz for artists & musicians when it served as a bar & restaurant.
Transforming the beautiful colonial house,it now offers a comfortable, homely experience but at affordable prices providing a new meeting point for like minded folk, you guys,Travellers!!! After eleven years travelling & living in various countries around the world, it was time to choose a spot to settle so i decided on Salvador- a great city that provides a super mixture of art, culture, music & of course sun & beaches-to be my permanent base & where i will offer other travellers a comfortable & safe temporary home whilst visiting this amazing city
Pelourinho Historical District
From the street the old house deceives the on-looker as it seems to have only two floors, but in fact it offers three floors, the upper two divided into five rooms & a shower room a total of forty beds spaciously spread out.
Downstairs you will find the large area divided between the reception, bar/restaurant & chill out room with the interesting options to relax & mix with your fellow guests.
Running along side the house you will discover the super garden & terrace area where breakfast is served & where meals can be enjoyed through the day or where a peaceful beer can be savoured away from the hustle & bustle of the terraces of Pelourinho where sometimes just one too many offers of free gifts is enough.
Also outside you will find more relaxing chill out spots whether in a hammock or on the middle eastern style lounging area. |

Prefectura on your right Taxi or Own Transport
As we are located on one of the few streets in Pelourinho where taxis can drive along, you have the option of arriving by taxi if you are getting into town late, and if you are coming by your own transport we have the great advantage of having a car park right in front,so if you are some crazy guys motoring South America (met a guy myself who was touring s.america by motorbike but missed out salvador because he could not find parking,so he told me i should mention this point) you can leave your baby next to your bed NEARLY. | | |
