Hostal GuateFriend’s Bed & Breakfast is located only one minute drive from La Aurora International Airport and we will be happy to pick you up and take you there for free. GuateFriends is family owned and located in one of the premier areas of Guatemala City -- a perfect example of traditional Guatemalan ambiance. GuateFriend's hands-down, has the best organic & imported foods around and we make everything from scratch here at our Hostel. (We even make our own bread and butter.) We also provide Lunch and dinner which is unheard of at B&B's/hostels in Guatemala. Breakfast is included and is provided from 3AM - 11AM. GuateFriend's owners will also give personal guided tours. We also work with INGUAT (Guatemala's National Tourism Bureau) approved private tour companies that will pick you up from GuateFriends B&B and bring you back when the tour has commenced. (Some of the tours include day excursions to the volcanoes, and the cities of Panajachel, San Pedro, La Antigua, and Chichicastenango. Tours are also available to the Mayan Ruins at Tikal, Peten, Coban, Quetzaltenango, Monterrico, Retaluleu and many other exciting destinations.) Our rooms are designed to make you feel comfortable and warmly welcomed. We offer three options according to your personal preferences: single, double and shared rooms. While our guest, your stay will include the comforts of home with hot water (we always have hot water!!!), personal towels & toiletries and linens changed everyday. Breakfast of your choosing is included. Lunch, dinner, and late night snacks are offered for a nominal fee.
