Backpackers is a new hostel located just two blocks from the main and popular indigenous market in one of the oldest, most history and safety neighborhoods of San Cristobal de las Casas, in the south-east of Mexico. Our building has a colonial architecture with gorgeous and colorful gardens typical of Mexico in the century 19th when this building was created and is now part of the historic monuments of the city. This old construction was adapted in order to make a comfortable, colorful and nice hostel using the entire colonial and typical style. Our location is ideal for visitors placing them within easy reach of the most beautiful places of the city. We are just a few steps away from the great church dedicated to Santo Domingo, an impressive structure surrounded by a wonderful garden and craft market.
